Sigma 18mm 2.8 Filtermatic, Eschatologically Orange

Finally arrived. A perfect rare lens for experiments, given the 4 in-built filters and the wide angle focus length. Produced some 40 years ago, my copy is in mint condition. Fabulous make, heavy, sturdy, small. Loved the orange filter, as its gives an eschatological colour touch to all photos. Cons are typical for wide angle lens of that time: sometimes prone to flare, issues with sharpness of corners, vignetting. Yet I’d gladly spend time with it and carry it around for experimental photography.

Photos taken on Pentax K20D, IS0 400, f4-8.0.
